It is with great sadness that we received news of Pastor Milton's death during the week. It was unexpected and sudden. Please continue to keep the Fritsch family in your prayers as they are dealing with the shock and understandably grieving deeply. Also, should you find it difficult in dealing with your own feelings regarding this news, please contact pastor Tim and Roelof and know that they are already praying for you.
A reminder for us all, as adapted from the Lutheran Funeral Rite;
As we 'deal with' our grief, St Paul comfort’s us with these words: “Don’t you know that all of us who were baptised in Christ Jesus were baptised into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.
Heavenly Father, we give thanks to you through Jesus Christ our Lord. Comfort us in our time of mourning, for you are the only source of true comfort, and in your love you long to comfort us. Care for us in our grief and remind us that you are always near; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
In His Service,
Pastors Roelof and Tim
